All the 21 barangays in Quirino, Isabela participated in the recently conducted Lifestyle Quirino Fair held on June 16-17, 2015 at the Municipal Compound of Quirino, Isabela.

The Department of Trade and Industry through the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (DTI-CARP) and in close partnership with the local government unit of Quirino has organized the event which was requested by Hon. Jossie Maria Bella L. Juan, the Municipal Mayor. The event was organized to highlight the town’s 48th Founding Anniversary celebration.

Each barangay prepared and decorated their booths in the municipal compound making use of the abundant natural resources in their respective municipalities.

Cash Prizes were given also to the Best Dressed Booth, barangay with Best Innovative Product and for the Overall Champion.

Barangay Dolores, the sole winner of the three (3) categories made use of sea-snail shells and beans to creatively design and decorate their booth.

In addition. Agrarian Reform Communities (ARCs) in the 21 municipalities also participated in the marketing event generating sales amounting to Php. 85,256.00 for various products displayed and exhibited.

Among the participating ARC MSMEs were Villa Miguel ARC and VIMADOTRES SANTOS ARC.


For the Villa Miguel ARC, MSMEs include Karigo Corn Husk Fashion and Accessories Association (corn husk),WAVAL Association ( meat products), and ARANAAR ARB MPC  (essential and herbal soap products).


Meanwhile, for the VIMADOTRES SANTOS ARC participating MSMEs were Irene’s Native Delicacies, Dolores Home Decors, Freddie Cabacungan Black Rice, Michael Deleon Manggo & C18 Rice and Blessed Carmel Apparels.
