Bañares, DTI R02 regional director (center) congratulates one of the SMEs who was conferred certificate of completion for the SMERA Level I Curriculum during the SME Roving Academy (SMERA) Graduation Rites from Level I and II of the MSME Development Pathways Program at the Activity Center, Brickstone Mall, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The financing forum was conducted in the morning and was attended by more than 150 entrepreneurs, representatives from the regional line agencies, stakeholders and other private entities.
DTI organized the event to help MSMEs better understand the different financing facilities available and the entailed processes that entrepreneurs need to undergo to qualify to avail of various financing programs.
Meanwhile, on December 15, 2015 in the afternoon, more than one hundred SMEs from region 2 were conferred by the Department of Trade and Industry R02 certificates of completion for the SMERA Level I and II Curriculum during the 1st SME Roving Academy (SMERA) Graduation Rites of the MSME Development Pathways Program.
MSMEs who successfully completed all the level I and/or Level II course curriculum are being recognized and conferred with certificate of completion.
The 1st SME Commencement ceremony also celebrates the three years of the SMERA program in supporting, developing and honouring entrepreneurs in the community aligned to the theme “Enhancing Competitiveness of SMEs in the Global Economy through Continuous Learning”.
Conferred SMEs are now qualified for the next level of the SME Roving Academy course curriculum.
