The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 will implement the Online Price Monitoring System or DTI e Presyo on September 2016 wherein consumers can already check the prices of basic and prime commodities, whenever and wherever they want via android smartphones and computers.
The DTI e-Presyo Application is now downloadable from the Play Store on supported devices such as Android smartphones and tablet devices with Android 4.1 and above.
Through the DTI e-Presyo, consumers will have an access on the updated Nationwide Price Data, Suggested Retail Price (SRP), Prevailing Prices, and Comparative Prevailing Prices of basic and prime commodities monitored by DTI.
Consumers may also access the DTI e-Presyo through computers and laptops by visiting the DTI website http://www.dti.gov.ph/dti/index.php/resources/e-presyo
DTI 2 Consumer Welfare Division Officer-in-Charge Mr. Randolph Cacacho said that to use this App, consumers need to have an internet access.
“DTI is currently working on the App for iPhone users,” he added.
