DTI CARP strengthen ARBOs through series of trainings
The DTI Quirino Provincial Office under its Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), conducted a Skills Training on Fruits and Vegetables Processing cum Product Development Activity on Packaging and Labelling on June 13-14, 2019 for twenty (21) farmer-beneficiaries composed of 2 males and 19 females. The participants are members and officers of the Tres Reyes, ARB MPC located at the Barangay Tres Reyes, Saguday, Quirino.

LGU San Mateo taps DTI for PWDS’ Entrepreneurial Development Training
On June 14, 2019 DTI Isabela collaborated with the local government of San Mateo, Isabela to provide basic entrepreneurial development training to forty-four (44) persons with disabilities (PWDs) who recently received sari-sari store starter kits worth P 20,000 from the Department of Labor and Employment. Each starter kit consists of rice, instant noodles, coffee, sugar, condiments, laundry detergents, bath soaps, shampoo and other merchandise typically sold by sari-sari stores. The Sari-Sari stores will be located at the respective residences of the PWD-beneficiaries.

Consumers, Job-Seekers flock to Independence Day Jobs and Business Fair
More than 1500 jobseekers, consumers and small business owners visited the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) Jobs and Business Fair on June 12, Independence Day at the People’s Gymnasium, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
